Actually we left over an hour ago. We're almost to the border with Arizona. In an hour we should be passing through St George, UT.

Yosemite is spectacular. Took a little longer than we had planned, so we figure we'll skip Death Valley and head to Vegas.

For our last day in the Bay Area, we wanted to see a bit of San Francisco. A fire in Oakland had shut down the BART, so we took the ferry to San Francisco instead. We walked up Market Street, had a quick bite to eat, browsed the new products in the Apple store, hopped over to see Apple's World Wide Developer Conference, and headed back to the Embarcadero to catch the ferry home.

Only a week - exactly seven days - until the adventure begins. Still plenty of planning and packing yet for James and Michael to do. Annabelle and Edgar don't have much to do except wait, and get excited with eager anticipation. They are already seasoned travelers.
